We had a great Christmas this year, although small it was very memorable.
Both Megan and Olivia were so much fun this year. Olivia nearly had a corinary with every gift. She enjoyed not only her Bitty Baby but her daddy's socks and underwear too. Megan was much more into Christmas this year and has a crush on Santa. That is pretty much all she would talk about. She is sad that he has gone back to the North Pole but understands he needs to prepare for next year.
Here are some pictures of the kids. They are still difficult to pose and I always end up giving up. I think I need a quicker camera, I always just miss the perfect shot.

Here they are in there usual mood:

Here are all 3 as nice as I could capture them:

Here is the family gift from Santa this year (courtesy of my parents). The girls love bird watching and they set this up right outside there window.

After a long day of discharging (loooong story). We got home late last night to meet a Respitory Therapist who set up oxygen and a pulseox at home so we can treat her here. During the day her sats are 98-100 but during the night she is dipping down. She is only on 1 liter of O2 though, so they tell us to let her go back to regular activities on Tuesday!
IT IS GOOD TO BE HOME! Olivia and Megan are back to there old antics already!

Today Megan was visited by her Aunt MeMe, Will, Nana and Pop Pop.
When Megan went for a walk yesterday in the hospital she saw a HUGE giraffe in the window of the gift shop.....today Pop Pop surprised her with it and lifted her spirits, she has been doing well all afternoon and we just got back from a chest x-ray....please pray things will continue to get better and Megan can come home soon.

Megan is in the hospital going on day 6....she has pneumonia and is miserable.
She cannot keep up her o2. She is sitting anywhere between 82 and 90....but no higher. The hospital staff has tried EVERYTHING....it looks like we will be here until it works itself out.
They were worried that maybe she couldn't keep her o2 up because she had heart issues. Her bp was high and her heart rate was high. They came in and did an EKG but it was normal. They also came tonight to do an Echo and they said all seemed ok but would have a resident review and get back to us.
We missed Thanksgiving and now it looks like we will miss the Rockettes on Sunday. Please keep Megan in your prayers. We are all tired!

Grandmom passed away on Saturday unexpectedly and we are all heart broken.
When Megan was born there was no question that when I had to go back to work Grandmom was going to watch her. For 2 years Grandmom did all her therapies and made her the avid food lover she is today.
Megan and Grandmom had a special bond that can never be broken.
This is so hard for my family.
Please keep us in your prayers.

So this morning we spent painting our pumpkins. I told the girls last night before bed and so this morning they came to wake me and remind me at 7:00am. Yesterday we had to buy new paint because my girls like to paint and waste it.

So this morning was no differnet. I use old egg boxes for the paint. It makes it easier to mix the paint and since we buy a dozen and a half size eggs I can cut it in half and give each girl their own paint tray.

They covered their pumpkins in tons of paint enough to keep them warm in this cold chilly weather. We will carve our big pumpkins next week a few days before Halloween while we watch Charlie Brown's "The Great Pumpkin"...

Here is a full table view. If you notice one of our big pumpkins in the background. I picked it out yesterday and it was not vertical like that, I swear, LOL....Joe, my husband can carve that one.

We had a busy day yesterday so I got no time here on the computer.
I took the girls to Peddler's Village today since Megan had off of school.
We walked around, went to the toy shop, had lunch, went to pick out big pumpkins and then came home and started a fire in the fireplace and watched Hocus Pocus.
Then of course the girls went to bed and we watched our Phillies come out on top in game 1 of the World Series....my day was definetly better.

I dare you to watch.

I care about all of my children's future and this special on 20/20 sheds truth on today's problems....please take the time to watch.

I was wrong. The rally was just Cindy McCain and Rudy Guilianni (not worth my time, LOL) but instead I was able to pick up Renee and Kennedy to take them to the airport, so to me that was so much better.

As for my day....thank goodness it is over. It was rough. I dropped my poor girl today off my back at her field trip, I forgot my camera and my son and his friends broke my back door....sad sad sad.

Here is one picture I got today.

Tomorrow will be a more exciting post since we have a Halloween Party, Megan's Field Trip and a potential opportunity to meet John McCain and Sarah Palin. Hope you all had a nice weekend!

Not sure if I ever showed off Megan's big girl bed, so here it is.

Not sure what to post today other than we are hoping to get our turn to meet John McCain and Sarah Palin on Monday. They will be right across the street from my house at a local farm for a rally. I am thinking about making a sign to hold so any ideas are appreciated.
