Grandmom passed away on Saturday unexpectedly and we are all heart broken.
When Megan was born there was no question that when I had to go back to work Grandmom was going to watch her. For 2 years Grandmom did all her therapies and made her the avid food lover she is today.
Megan and Grandmom had a special bond that can never be broken.
This is so hard for my family.
Please keep us in your prayers.

So this morning we spent painting our pumpkins. I told the girls last night before bed and so this morning they came to wake me and remind me at 7:00am. Yesterday we had to buy new paint because my girls like to paint and waste it.
So this morning was no differnet. I use old egg boxes for the paint. It makes it easier to mix the paint and since we buy a dozen and a half size eggs I can cut it in half and give each girl their own paint tray.
They covered their pumpkins in tons of paint enough to keep them warm in this cold chilly weather. We will carve our big pumpkins next week a few days before Halloween while we watch Charlie Brown's "The Great Pumpkin"...
Here is a full table view. If you notice one of our big pumpkins in the background. I picked it out yesterday and it was not vertical like that, I swear, LOL....Joe, my husband can carve that one.

We had a busy day yesterday so I got no time here on the computer.
I took the girls to Peddler's Village today since Megan had off of school.
We walked around, went to the toy shop, had lunch, went to pick out big pumpkins and then came home and started a fire in the fireplace and watched Hocus Pocus.
Then of course the girls went to bed and we watched our Phillies come out on top in game 1 of the World Series....my day was definetly better.

I was wrong. The rally was just Cindy McCain and Rudy Guilianni (not worth my time, LOL) but instead I was able to pick up Renee and Kennedy to take them to the airport, so to me that was so much better.
As for my day....thank goodness it is over. It was rough. I dropped my poor girl today off my back at her field trip, I forgot my camera and my son and his friends broke my back door....sad sad sad.
Here is one picture I got today.

Not sure what to post today other than we are hoping to get our turn to meet John McCain and Sarah Palin on Monday. They will be right across the street from my house at a local farm for a rally. I am thinking about making a sign to hold so any ideas are appreciated.

This picture is for my mom. She bought the girls their Christmas Dresses and Coats and here is a pic of the girls trying on the coats to see if they fit.
Here is a picture of Megan today. She had class pictures. Doesn't she look cute?
Here are the girls at their new dance class. We are trying something new its a long story. This is Sophia one of the girls best friends and Josh, Sophia's brother(their mom and I went to HS together).
Here is a picture of Olivia dressed for school today.
Hence me being able to sit and type this out during the day.
Happy Down Syndrome Awareness Month to all.

Megan's 5th Birthday is coming up. I am having her party at "Bouncing Off The Walls" this year. We will have Cinderella and Ariel there as well to play with the kids. Last year Megan had a double party. She had her friends come to a Caterpillar Party at a local gym and then we had family and friends back at our house for food and entertainment. It was very tiring.
Here are some pics from Megan's 4th Birthday.

Megan was such a good girl today for her surgery. I asked her if she was going to be a good patient like Kennedy and she touched her head and said yes with her eyes bugging out(I think she got a little nervous that she was getting a halo or something, LOL). All the nurses came in to play with her and she took their pictures and told them what to do (she made one turn around and bend down and she took a picture of her butt, LOL). They all seemed to get a kick out of her.
And today for some odd reason all the nurses had names that started with "M". There was Maureen, Marianne, Mary, Maggie and Martha (I think one other one was named Theresa). Megan borrowed a book from there play area and they let her keep it since she told them all how much she likes "Max and Ruby" while she sang them the theme song. She recovered well and we were pretty much in and out. The doctor told me that she was and will be his most difficult patient since her canals are so small. It took him a whole 10 minutes longer than usual. BUT I forgot to ask what type of tubes they used (darn it)...if I learned anything from Renee and Keneedy it is to make sure you have the type of tube and manufacturer just in case ;)

Posting here to let everyone know tomorrow Megan will be having ear tube surgery.
We have to arrive at 8:45 am.
We hope once they remove the tubes (which are over 2 1/2 years old) and drain all the fluid she will be able to pass a hearing test.
Please keep her in your prayers.
Dad will be off tomorrow to take Joey to the Orthodontist and Olivia to school.
Thank you everyone.
edited to add: last time she had surgery was March 06' for her 1st set of tubes and a T&A. In honor of 31 for 21, here is pictures from that day.
