I am posting on something other than my kids I "kid" you not.
So did you hear about the cook book written by Jerry Seinfeld's wife? Supposedly there is a very close proximity in recipes of her book and another cook book, "The Sneaky Chef" by Missy Chase Lapine. There is buzz going on throughout the internet.....Here is a write up on Yahoo all about it.
So seems to me that the publisher knew the Seinfeld name would bring in big bucks and ignored the similarities...how could that be, that is just wrong and is not a coincidence to me!

Ms. Lapine is very fortunate to have been plagiarized because now she'll make so much more money from the media exposure....that's the logic of many posters above. Yeh, she'll even be more happy when her greedy lawyers start deposing the Seinfeld's entire HarperCollins book prep team in 3-4 weeks to see who leaked Ms. Lapine's manuscript. You see, Ms. Lapine didn't use an agent when she first presented the her manuscript to HarperCollins so the book staff could possibly have just said, " Heh, look here, a free manuscript to steal. Nobody will ever know."
Wow...that's really sad! I was thinking about getting that cookbook but I don't think that I will waste my money on a book that was stolen.
Well, I hope Lapine takes them for all they are worth!
